Global content leader Turner electrified The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City this morning with a star-studded, dynamic showcase of the company’s portfolio of top-rated media brands and forward-thinking advertising innovations. The morning event kicked off with an anthem video (left) that crystallized Turner's vision and commitment to reimagining the viewing experience for consumers, while highlighting the innovative spirit that remains alive and vibrant across the company today.

Results resonated as an underlying theme throughout the presentation which showcased Turner’s portfolio of leading entertainment, kids, news and sports brands – including Adult Swim, Cartoon Network, CNN, HLN, TBS, TNT, truTV and Turner Sports. All were highlighted throughout the 90-minute presentation as the company drove home its omni-channel approach to premium, transparent and trusted environments and its ability to deliver for advertisers at massive scale, across all screens and experiences. NEWS: TNT drops first trailer for The Alienist
TNT has released its first trailer for The Alienist, the eagerly anticipated psychological thriller based on the Anthony Award-winning international bestseller by Caleb Carr. Set in 1896 amidst the vast wealth, extreme poverty and technological innovation of New York during the Gilded Age, The Alienist follows the hunt for a series killer responsible for the gruesome murders of boy prostitutes. NEWS: Snoop Dogg to host TBS's reimagined iconic game show The Joker's Wild
Turner's TBS is teaming up with entertainment icon and actor Snoop Dogg to refresh and update the classic game show The Joker's Wild. Snoop Dogg, who counted The Joker's Wild as his favorite game show growing up, will host TBS's new version. The half-hour game show with a comedic edge is being produced by Sony Pictures Television, in association with Turner's Studio T. Snoop Dogg will executive produce along with two-time Emmy winner and Super Bowl Champion Michael Strahan (co-host Good Morning America). Constance Schwartz-Morini (Religion of Sports), for SMAC, Ted Chung (Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party), for Snoopadelic Films, and Vincent Rubino (The $100,000 Pyramid) will also serve as executive producers on the series, which TBS plans to launch later this year. NEWS: The Dress Up Gang coming to TBS in all-new series
TBS has greenlit a new series from the comedy trio The Dress Up Gang, whose viral videos include the popular My Roommate, My Friend series. The Dress Up Gang's creators, Donny Divanian and Cory Loykasek are set to star in the series, with special appearances by fellow team-member and creator Robb Boardman, who will also write and direct. Dave Kneebone (Comedy Bang! Bang!, The Eric Andre Show), Tim Heidecker (Decker, Tim and Eric's Bedtime Stories) and Eric Wareheim (Check It Out! with Dr. Steve Brule, Tim and Eric's Bedtime Stories) serve as executive producers on the series, which is produced by Absolutely in association with Turner's Studio T. NEWS: TBS greenlights anthology comedy "Miracle Workers," starring Daniel Radcliffe and Owen Wilson
TBS has greenlit Miracle Workers, an anthology comedy series starring Daniel Radcliffe (Swiss Army Man, Now You See Me 2, Harry Potter Films) and Owen Wilson (Midnight in Paris, Masterminds). The series is executive-produced by Lorne Michaels (Saturday Night Live) and created by Simon Rich (Man Seeking Woman), who will also serve as showrunner on the series. TBS has greenlit Close Enough, a new animated series from Regular Show creator J.G. Quintel. The surreal comedy about a family growing up without getting old marks the first collaboration between Cartoon Network Studios and Studio T, both divisions of Turner. NEWS: TBS and Super Deluxe to launch interactive late-night block
TBS is developing a fully interactive late-night programming block with sister company Super Deluxe. The block will feature a wide variety of content from the multiplatform studio's rapidly growing creative stable, all presented with compelling interactive components to further engage the members of the mobile-first generation. TBS has cast Cedric the Entertainer (Barbershop), Taylor Mosby (Criminal Minds) and Dante Hoagland (The New Edition Story) as regulars in the upcoming comedy series The Last O.G., starring multiple Emmy® nominee Tracy Morgan (30 Rock). They join previously announced regulars Allen Maldonado (Straight Outta Compton), Ryan Gaul (Identity Thief) and Tiffany Haddish (Keanu) in the scripted comedy. NEWS: TBS closes extensive four-year deal with Conan O'Brien's Team Coco
TBS has closed a new four-year all-inclusive deal with Conan O'Brien's Team Coco that will capitalize on his linear and multiplatform success and extend the CONAN brand into additional content experiences across all screens, including digital and branded content, podcasting, mobile gaming, pay TV and live tours. TBS will also expand its relationship with Conaco LLC, which produces CONAN, along with TBS's hit comedy People of Earth and the upcoming animated series Final Space; Team Coco, the fan-centric entity that serves as the show's digital and social media hub; and the Team Coco Digital Studio, which produces branded content for Turner's advertising partners. The agreement includes a four-year renewal of TBS's popular nightly late-night show CONAN, continuing O'Brien's reign as late-night television's longest-serving host through the year 2022. NEWS: Ridley Scott developing sci-fi block for TNT
Turner's TNT has begun working with master storyteller and filmmaker Ridley Scott (The Martian, Blade Runner, Alien: Covenant) to develop a night of original science-fiction programming. Initial plans call for the block to serve as a showcase for hour-long series, short-form programs and other formats to be developed in collaboration with Scott. The slate is being produced by Scott's Scott Free Productions in association with Turner's Studio T, with Scott and David W. Zucker (The Good Wife, The Man in the High Castle) serving as executive producers and Jordan Sheehan (The Good Fight, The Terror) and Clayton Krueger (JCVJ, Mercy Street) as co-executive producers. NEWS: Tony winner Daveed Diggs boards TNT's Snowpiercer pilot, to be directed by Scott Derrickson
Turner's TNT has cast Daveed Diggs, who earned a Tony® for the Broadway hit Hamilton, to star in the network's drama pilot Snowpiercer, which will be directed by Doctor Strange helmer Scott Derrickson. Derrickson will also serve as an executive producer on the series. Based on the acclaimed movie of the same name, the hour-long drama pilot is a co-production of Tomorrow Studios and Turner's Studio T. TNT has ordered a pilot for Highland, a scripted drama written and executive produced by Liz Sarnoff (Lost, Barry) and actress-comedian Margaret Cho (Margaret Cho: PsyCHO, Drop Dead Diva), who will also star. The pilot, which is inspired by Cho's personal history with substance abuse, is a co-production of Marty Adelstein's Tomorrow Studios and Turner's Studio T, with Cho serving as executive producer. Turner's TNT has greenlit Michael Moore Live from the Apocalypse (working title), a new non-fiction series from Oscar® and Emmy® winner Michael Moore (Bowling for Columbine, TV Nation). Set to premiere in the late fall, the series will pull back the curtain on everything from Washington politics to Wall Street shenanigans. Moore will direct and star in the series, as well as executive-produce with frequent collaborator and Oscar-nominee Meghan O'Hara (SiCKO). Continuing to grow their slate of original programming, Adult Swim announced today a new animated series from Tyler, The Creator and Lionel Boyce called The Jellies!, premiering this summer. Coming into the Turner Upfront 2017 presentation on May 17 in New York City, Adult Swim has remained the top destination with millennials for more than a decade in both primetime and late night, growing their audience and extending their reach to a new generation of fans. The Jellies! is a quarter-hour animated series created by Tyler and Boyce. The show follows a family of Jellyfish, including their 16-year-old human son Cornell. When Cornell learns that he was adopted at birth, he is shocked by the news and spirals out of control as he tries to "find himself."
