TNT Greenlights Post-Apocalyptic Sci-Fi Series Snowpiercer
Turner's TNT has given a series greenlight to Snowpiercer, a futuristic thriller based on the acclaimed movie of the same name. Tracy Morgan Returns to Series Television in The Last O.G. Tuesday, April 3 at 10:30 PM (ET/PT) on TBS
Comedy superstar and multiple Emmy® nominee Tracy Morgan returns to television with TBS starring in The Last O.G., a new comedy series that he also Executive Produces alongside creator and executive producer Jordan Peele. TBS Orders Two More Seasons of Full Frontal with Samantha Bee
This fall, television’s fastest growing late night show and ad supported television’s #1 late night show among young adults has been renewed for two new seasons by TBS. The Emmy Award-winning Full Frontal with Samantha Bee will return Wednesday, February 7 in its usual time slot at 10:30 p.m. (ET/PT). Premiering in 2016 as the only female-hosted late-night program, Full Frontal has led the cultural conversation since its self-assured debut and heads into 2018 focused on the midterm elections. TBS Announces New Monday Night Animation Block with Season Premiere of American Dad! and Series Premiere of Final Space
TBS gets animated on Monday nights starting with American Dad! returning to TBS on February 12th at 10pm ET/ PT with 22 new episodes.  In addition, the network has ordered two more seasons of the top-rated animated hit American Dad!. The series premiered on the FOX broadcasting network in 2005 before moving to TBS in 2014. Since then, it has been a key performer for the network, ranked as one of 2017’s top 10 cable comedies. Then, on Monday, February 26th, TBS will debut the new animated intergalactic space saga Final Space on at 10:30pm (ET/PT) immediately following American Dad! for an hour-long animation block. Read more...

truTV Announces 2018 Greenlights, Premiere Dates & Guest Stars For Its Comedic Programming Slate
On the heels of a breakout year in 2017, truTV today announced 2018 greenlights, premiere dates and guest stars ahead of the network’s panel at the Television Critics Association Press Tour. Being paneled today at TCA, Bobcat Goldthwait’s Misfits & Monsters will welcome a crop of talented guest stars to the prolific director’s scripted comedic anthology series. Bringing viewers twisted, darkly witty satirical tales, each episode mashes up two distinct genres and features characters who are misfits, monsters, or both, but with unexpected and fantastical turns. Joining Bobcat on today’s panel are guest stars Bridget Everett, Seth Green and Danny Pudi with additional guest stars included in the description below. The show premieres in summer 2018.

The network also announced the series greenlight of Paid Off with Michael Torpey, a half-hour comedy game show where contestants compete for the chance to have their student debt paid off. In addition, truTV has ordered to pilot Tacoma FD (wt), a half-hour scripted comedy from Kevin Heffernan and Steve Lemme, co-creators and stars of the cult classic film, Super Troopers.

Finally, truTV unveiled guest stars for returning series Talk Show the Game Show and premiere dates for Adam Ruins Everything and The Chris Gethard Show, which will return in spring 2018.  Read more…
