Turner Classic Movies (TCM) is a two-time Peabody Award-winning network that presents great films, uncut and commercial-free, from the largest film libraries in the world highlighting the entire spectrum of film history. TCM features the insights from primetime host Ben Mankiewicz and Saturday daytime host Tiffany Vazquez.
- In February 2017, TCM launched Noir Alley, a new programming franchise hosted by Eddie Muller, founder and president of the Film Noir Foundation, airing every Sunday at 10 a.m. (ET).
- Emmy winner and Oscar nominee Alec Baldwin hosts The Essentials, TCM's popular franchise showcasing "must see" classic films airing every Saturday at 8 p.m. (ET). David Letterman, Tina Fey and William Friedkin join Baldwin each week throughout the season as special guests.
- TCM is paying tribute to "The Master of Suspense" -- director Alfred Hitchcock -- with a month-long programming event currently featuring more than 40 films and a free online course for viewers in partnership with Ball State University and Canvas Network.
- TCM will launch the third season of the Trailblazing Women initiative in October, which raises awareness of the historical contributions of women working behind and in front of the camera.
