TNT and sister network TBS have been undergoing brand transformations and programming evolutions that began last year with the launch of eight high-quality, distinctive marquee originals with a 100% renewal rate, as well as such new properties as ELEAGUE and Super Deluxe. In 2017 and beyond, the two powerhouse cable brands will build on that extraordinary success with new seasons of their returning hits and the launches of several highly anticipated  new series.

TNT currently ranks as one of cable's Top 5 entertainment networks with both adults 18-34 and adults 18-49 for the year-to-date, continuing its demo success from 2016. The network started its shift toward more premium fare last year with the launches of two acclaimed hits  – Animal Kingdom & Good Behavior  – both of which scored strong ratings and earned second-season renewals.

Joining the mix this year are two hot new dramas:

  • Claws stars Niecy Nash in a midnight-dark, wickedly funny meditation on female badness set in a Central Florida nail salon. (Season 1: Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT)
  • Will, starring newcomer Laurie Davidson and Olivia DeJonge, tells the wild, rowdy story of young William Shakespeare in a bold, contemporary style. (Season 1: Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT)

TNT will also mark the return of its legacy series in 2017, including The Last Ship (Season 4 Premiere: Aug. 20), Major Crimes (Season 6: Late Summer 2017) and The Librarians (Winter 2018). Check out the just-released trailer for The Last Ship Season 4.
